What I heard is if you stretch after strength training your muscle fibres are able to grow back more densely so, while your muscles will grow larger, you end up looking less like a guy made of balloons. Again, no idea where I came across this idea or if there is any truth in that.
I doubt that’s true

I messed up my last post. I meant to say ' while your muscles will still grow larger, but not as large as if you didn't stretch,'

Anyway, enough of stretching muscles, what about stomachs?

Ceci are you still on sub a day?

My wife and son are in Greece for a month, so I am self catering. Had roast veg with steak, fried egg, melted cheese and a mushroom cream sauce. It's nice not having to eat the mountains of pasta that is staple to Mediterranean cuisine!

I’m just eating a bunch lately. Some random woman on reddit says the med clinic she worked at a lot of trans women ended up looking like skinny fat dudes with slight gyno and recommended transwomen put on fat during transition. Which makes enough sense so I’m actually eating and trying to sorta balance it with exercise but I’ll go up 2 hundo (+13 lbs) if it seems like it it’ll help.

My body changes ALOT between 185-190. Just going for pure fat gains atm. Diet it off and repeat. Should put fat where I want it.

So after a little bit of an injury, or more awareness of said injury, it's pretty clear why my squats weren't going up in weight. Between muscle imbalances between the left and right side, a bulging disk in my back (two actually. One down at the lumbar and another closer to the top of the spine), and a problem with hip muscles on my right side (yeah my chiropractor waved their finger at me) I didn't really stand a chance at making gains.

I need to take a week or two off, but when I get back into it, what sort of exercises do y'all do for single leg focus to fix imbalances? I had started working reverse lunges and Bulgarian splitsquats, but I was curious if anyone else has any of their own favorites up their sleeves.

You can use a leg press with one leg? I’m honestly not too familiar with what you’ll need to do. You can use the cable machine like women do when they strap one leg in and take their leg backwards to activate their glute and hamstring on one side

A good chance to meet the ladies. Ask to work in, show them the booty, I like it.
