It's an important factor but not
the deciding factor. And to be offended by the word intelligence is to assume only one type exists. As the link I included shows, you can be a postal worker all your life and get low marks in school, and yet there is something uniquely profound in your mind that most A+ students wouldn't think of on their own.
The distinction is important, but I already implied it elsewhere. There's wisdom, understanding of social mechanics, and just hard math. Jimi Hendrix just intuitively seemed to know how to play the guitar, learning with either hand because his father insisted on the "normal" way even though Jimi was left-handed.
Also, stop playing semantics as if I'm flip-flopping. The guy you voted for flip-flops for days.
