I find it odd in BDAs recruitment thread one of the requirements for joining in not to be a douchebag. What exactly does this fall under Chest?
It wasn't that long ago you had to be a close friend or relative of an existing member to apply.

Don't believe everything you read ;P

And you obviously had no knowledge of how the camp works. Made an incorrect ruling based on nothing but your ignorance to the details. How about next time you take a moment to get familiar with the camp in question before making a ruling that goes against the rules you are supposed to be upholding.

Giving idiots power just leads to idiotic decisions

BDA is full of ass hats
+1. Quillmane isn't considered a camp not because it's a trigger but because quillmane paths throughout the zone.

Real talk, I actually read the thing and if your force camped for any reason you left your camp.

It's really niche and nitpicky, but you fucked up. Own up to it. The rules are posted in several places. The long form list that I looked through, quoted a few posts ago, and that everyone is bound by, is in Raid Discussion. Go read it.

If your other people hadn't camped, you would have been in the clear. Chest might be an asshole, but Braknar enforced the rules as-written.

Don't camp out next time.
His duo still kept a presence at a camp that was killed. People have been corpsing jboot rings for years without losing camp...

Any young forumquester that want to make a name for themselves wanna dig up some old chest posts where he is crying like a bitch for losing mobs? I can guarantee there are dozens but I don't care enough to look.

Ahhhh when the bullied becomes the bully, bet BDA and gang are just on cloud 9 over there.

From the PNP: "It should also be noted that if you camp out or leave the zone, you have forfeited a camp."

His duo became a solo when half of his duo camped, and then, however briefly, he lost the ability to assert his claim against someone wishing to contest the spawn.

Just so happened that Chest and crew showed up right then, but thats the risk you run when you camp out.

However, both should have had action taken against them for intentional training imo. I don't believe in the "offsetting trains" nonsense.

His duo still maintained a presence at a killed camp though. He easily could of gone linkdead instead of him /camping . Would this of looked better if he just had multiple chars on different accounts and /exit to cause an "LD" tag and logged onto his other char which so many people do on this server. The PNP was good for live servers, but it just doesn't work on p1999 when there's so many people and so many ways to subvert it

How would you take it if I did the same thing to you while you were camping Frenzy with a duo partner? You guys just finish killing up mob spawns and your partner needs to log onto a different character for a minute while you yourself can't kill the spawns because you're a lvl 49 cleric. Then I come strolling in on my shaman and I tell you that I'm going to take camp because your buddy isn't there, then 10 seconds later (one minute after you finish killing respawns) your buddy logs back in and I tell you guys that you need to leave because you didn't keep up a group presence capable of killing the camp.

If to follow the PNP like this, may as well count LD's as logging out.

Look, the brain dead moron is going to respond that you lose the camp in that situation. You need to remember that these guys are playing Everquest 12+ hours a day and this is all they have going for them in their life.

hmm no from my understanding OP was at the camp chest BURST IN through a dymentional portal where he was grappling with like 14 KOS dudes all with 255 resist as he turn casted on each one of them coining every one. then he THUNDER KICKED through the geometry and collision and picked up agro on EVERY MOB in the zone and said DO YOU WANA PVP WITH ME?! grabbing each one by the neck he wrapped his 1,000 foot long fingers around each throat the way a thread is woven into a rope then he NINJA WHIPED THE COCK RIGHT OFF op and stole the camp.

At least thats how it seems like it went down from what ive read

DO YOU WANNA PVP WITH ME???
