If it was a one way deal i think that would be more appropriate. I mean what you have with this system are a bunch of people boxing on blue w/ no worries killing green names and junk just to exchange for 3-4x on Red when the whole philosophy behind a pvp server is competition and pvp. There is none of that when all you have to do to make money on red is beg/port/farm low end. I love pvp don't get me wrong, played Tallon live. I'm not trying to bash red at all just not sure I agree with being able to transfer plat while keeping chars on both servers and being allowed to box the two servers. Again love pvp enjoy the slaughter guys n gals!

At this point, Fresh is about the best guild to be in for new players coming from blue.

Fresh has been great so far for me. I don't really care about guild politics and what has happened over the last 3 years on red. All I know is that since the start of December I have been in Fresh and it has been a very positive experience. Would guild again.

I can sympathize with people who would like to try out red without leaving behind something they've put time and effort into on blue. I didn't try red for the longest time much for that reason. But really, starting new on red is a great experience.

Almost no one is twinked, and the huge group xp bonus means players seek each other out and group up to level. Porters are pretty helpful getting new players to XP groups without payment. It's a lot of fun, epic battles against every XP mob since your tank has rusty weapons and your casters don't have a ton of cheap twink gear to boost their hp/mp pools.

Yeah, there's "griefers" here or there, but I've gone 1-35 on a cleric and only run into them twice even though I've leveled through crushbone, unrest, and mistmoore. They're just bored idiots who can't whore a leaderboard on their mains so they do it on twinks. They get bored if you don't give them what they want on their twinks too though, and then you can get back to your fun easily.

Meanwhile, you're playing EQ. But it's EQ with PVP in the mix to keep things interesting when you want to switch it up!

It's worth a shot if you're at all interested.
