Lord Gaben is a God.
installed steam to check it out on Linux and was like "welp, that checks out" to the default linux enabled games on my list but figured wtf lets see how the forced compatibility setting with Proton works never fucking installing windows again. fucking SFV runs smoother for me in Linux than it did on windows lol. Online match making worked also i was worried about that but played a few games and got roflstomped.

entire reason i'm doing this. the chances of people not sitting on windows 10 exploits right now waiting for it to enter windows xp territory of non-support is fucking zero.
anyone not preparing for it deserves to get le epic pwned haxxor'd right in the butt.

It's Final Fantasy, but instead of it just being a fantasy world, its a single player rpg of you playing a character, playing a mmorpg. it was just a cartoon then they made it into a video game

simulated mmorpg players are better than actual mmorpg players.
Have you checked out Erenshor demo on Steam? Its a new single player MMO sim coming out later this year that took a lot of inspiration from classic MMOs, quite a few EQ easter eggs as well. The party control features and AI were pretty cool.

followed, thx.
i'm a big fan of the concept in general because it's so hard to actually tell a story in a mmorpg that isn't like this completely separate activity of you just reading whatever lore the writers came up with and enjoying it while basically zero actual players caring about it in game, so Simplayers are appealing over the raiding meta in most mmorpgs to me
edit: yeah this is pretty legit.
