Dude wasn't going to be able to cope with his own ideals and the world he was born into. Wonder if he had the benefit of faith and understood he didn't need to be the Teacher nor the christ himself. Dude felt responsible for some reason. Maybe had more faith in science and thought he could heal the world. I'm gonna tellya. I'm at no risk of being another Aaron Swartz. I don't have to fix humanity or creation anymore.

![]() I most likely disagree with the guy's politics. Who cares.
Everyone in this thread is using information he exposed. | ||

"They" getchya wrapped up in contracts and legal and NDAs. He had access to the first layer of the science onion on the inside and he violated his contract with the devil. I remember reading a lot about this when I was in his phase. Science alone isn't enough. Nor is mans laws.

![]() Guy killed himself because Feds were out to get him for exposing massive corruption in Academia. I'm surprised Christians aren't more engaged in his story.

![]() Are you even so sure he killed himself?
Anyway. He exposed lies. Butt I can't tell you why or what his real ends where. What are you trying to say? He was a real hero who sacrificed his life for me? I'm not so sure. He killed himself because of a crucial flaw in his own understanding of the world. He thought he could be a hero and win against the evil. Perhaps by himself. Why though? Did he want fame? Did he want to go to G-d and tell G-d look how good he was? Did he want to avenge and vindicate a fallen comrad. All rolling stones says he was a victim and mental illness is bad and blames the system. It doesn't even say that what he did was actually right. Probably because of liability.
