Being an older, casual player myself, I also absolutely agree with that.

Still, I am not in favor of any bonus xp events, probably because it reminds me of the time, when SOE started these things (certainly not before PoP, that's when things already went downhill).

stop qqing all over rogean and the other devs decision to give us a 50% bonus. Its not like this is going to happen every month and im sure you all are just giving them a massive headache.

I still dont see how it could be ruining the integrity of the server.

Think of it as the 50% off sale for the grand re-opening of your favorite clothing outlet.

There is just no way to make everyone happy I suppose. There are always going to be people who find the negative in any situation. I couldn't care less if we have the 50% extra or not. I'm just happy the server is going to be up. I bet some of the people bitching about the 50% not being classic are the same people who support the global ooc. I just want to thank the dev team for doing a great job and for their attempt to try and please the community with the bonus. I personally will be taking advantage of it instead of boycotting the server for an extra week because something didn't go my way *sniff sniff*

not me, i dont care about an exp bonus for a week, doesnt affect the game much and is reasonable cuz the server was down a week. Just a nice gift from the devs [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I played WoW and playing eq2 on a pvp server and i can tell you its full of kids, the p99 community is way better. Tell me just one person younger than 18 who plays eq1? WoW is full of them, what ur saying is just not true.

Sure theres much flaming in this forum and in ooc but its nothing compared to eq2/wow open channels.

Well you are referring to an emulated version of an 11 year old game... There are tons of people under 18 that play Aion though which has a slow levelling curve, exp loss, ridiculous amounts of grinding, etc.

It's like saying more teens play Dragon Age than Nethack...

Also I think a few people under 18 do play on this server. Have seen a few claiming to be 16-17 and other people bitching that their kids play on here...
