The amount of people on this server is overwhelming at times. I dont really enjoy the competition for quest mobs. I run instances as much as possible. There are always lots of people lfg, and we have enough in guild to fill groups for most instances pre 30. STV is going to be nuts.

Having a high population is a burden while leveling, but is a huge boon at max level. You can find Onyxia/MC/ZG pugs multiple times daily. There's very little difficulty finding 5 mans from RFC all the way to Diremaul. If you actually form the group, you can just reserve whatever you need accordingly.
STV is one of my favorites things of early WoW. The mid-30s to early 40s are desolate pre-Dustwallow Revamp, so everyone questing gets funneled into STV.
For Alliance, you have like 3 levels in Hillsbrad, Arathi, and Alterac. Then, you have maybe 1 level in Desolace (if you wanna go way the fuck over there for reasons other than SM weapons). The best fucking zone in the game (Duskwood) conveniently feeds into STV at level 30.
Horde-side, you have a fucking Zeppelin that takes you directly to STV from the Horde capitol. Just like Alliance side, there's fuck-all for leveling in the 30s other than STV. You want to avoid STV? Have fun grinding 10 levels, faggot.
It's a goddamn war-zone unlike any other. I loved me EC and Gfay on Rallos, but they don't hold a candle to the bloodbath that is Stranglethorn Vale. For most players, Stranglethorn is the first time that you're going to encounter members of the opposite faction. You simply can't travel 50 feet in Stranglethorn without encountering the other faction. You can attempt to peacefully ignore the other faction at first, but after the 100th time being jumped while trying to collect 5 Gorilla Asses, you're gonna develop that kill-or-be-killed state of mind. You're in the middle of the fucking jungle in Vietnam. It's time to become Kurtz.
