If Clinton got elected, it wouldn't have been good for the Socialists. If Trump gets elected its not going to be good for the populist right.

Bernie isn't even going to fucking live 8 years if he is elected. The populist right will be much better off building resentment during a 4 year Bernie term in the long run.*

But I expect everyone to be shortsighted and see trump as the hero of the populist right -- rather than another billionaire scammer riding that bandwagon for the most part.

*Remember, market crash inc...probably going to happen before 5 years from now.

isn't sharia liek ultra-conservative? i think it may be irresponsible to frame it as leftist just because it is authoritarian. the right can be authoritarian too and just because some leftists support sharia or sharia-liek practices as the sacred right of people to live as they please, doesn't mean that all or the even most left-leaning people support cutting of hands for theft or stoning people. the vast majority of left-leaning persons do not support those things. But then, they don't identify as leftists either. those normal people identify as liberals or sometimes progressives, though sometimes leftists prefer the latter.
