The problem on this forum and irl are same, when you have some powers, automatically you will rejected all opinions against you, the only thing i can say is just : do not follow the flock of sheep and use the only thing that nobody can steal you : Your own opinion.

I have never banned someone in-game or on the forums for voicing their opinion or disagreeing with a decision in a respectful way. I rarely even take action against people who did it in a disrespectful way, there are many people who can attest to that. I have a high tolerance for bullshit.

This isn't the first time this has happened with this player in-game. I've given him plenty of free passes. It's been time after time that I've had to listen to him talk shit about me, the staff, and the server in-game and on the forums.

Yapas, if you think the staff here is so awful, go play somewhere else.

It's an unprecedented action. I don't think even Uthgaard did this. He may have prolonged suspensions for people already suspended in game that did something warranting suspensions, but not this.

Like I said, I am all for tieing 1 account to 1 forum name, but what is stopping someone from spoofing someone else's in game character name and act like a douche to staff thus get an account in game suspended? This is a slippery slope.

And you're still missing the whole point. He went in-game and used /petition to talk shit to the staff about something which happened on the boards.

The operative point being he was IN-GAME and did this. Therefore, he received an IN-GAME consequence.

No slope to slip down.
