No one that needs coverage is going to vote for an abstract "good economy" instead.

BTW: "the economy is good" is like a Fox/CNN line. The reality of the health of the economy is far more debatable.
if the economy is doing well, people are getting raises/bonuses, businesses are expanding(and hiring). People decide to add an addition on to their house or maybe a pool. It all "trickles down" from there. Not everyone equally gains from a strong economy, but everyone gains.

Quit trying to use heroin addicts to further your cause. You could give all the bums in the US a free house with free electricity and free food and therewould be feces all over the walls in a ran down dump a year later.

Just how good of an economy would be needed to spontaneously cure mental illness and drug addiction?

Oh what do you know -- the rightwingers prefer looking at abstractions in the news that that tells them "raises are likely" rather than their actual wages and cost of living as individuals.

Bunch of trained monkeys. I can't believe you idiots still think owners of this society are like "yea the economy is good, let's give out raises instead of maximizing our bottom line more."

Democrats should run on promising a bad economy since having a good economy is a bad thing, apparently.

It's an irrelevant red herring to the discussion that you're attempting to use to validate your communist viewpoint. Even communists have no use for the lumpenproletariot.
