Maybe instead of global ooc there could be a global auction channel that is accessible in cities (I think thats how FV was?).

This sounds pretty good tbh. For the reasons people claim to need global ooc, finding it in or around towns is most likely. Also, giving people a reason to go back to town for auction keeps things lively?

But, I'd have it set the way maps used to be on pve.. cities, and zones adjacent to cities.

Global ooc even w the negatives is half the reason people become passionate on red pvp server.

Even tho we have a small community with perceived hate for others we all know each other because of ooc.

Removing it would block all camaraderie. Ignores and chat filters are always available to those who opt out, just like mature language filtere.

thinks nilbog hopefully you change it to that would go a long way towards making red a more mature server and enjoyable that has a shot @ attracting new players so they don't get bombarded with the stupidity of forumquest 24/7

Players should not need to disable a native feature of the game due to abuse of their peers. imo
