I would vote no MQ's because I am a purist in the sense that people rarely MQ'd on live in 2001 and it creates a gay as fuck economy/server environment here.

Also why no poll... that was gonna be my first post. Put up a poll dood. Its in "thread tools".

Good analogy since people usually pay for their homes in real life currency.

Not all too different than how most people are buying 400k epic MQs.
Yep, everyone who has anything must have cheated to get it.

Not to force either option on anyone, but if a choice had to be made, I would chose to go without. I mean thats the point of the thread IMO. Not to bemoan or slander people with their MQs. Would rather play on a box without.

You act like that's why things happen around here.

Yeah but getting them MQ'd to you without prerequisite max faction or being lvl 50 isn't.

Don't make me come at you!

I did (Pegasus feather cloak) and I know many others that did as well. There were a few items that were MQed regularly. A lot of MQing early on live was gifted between friends and guildmates rather than sold publicly though.

The main difference with P99 is that Kunark has been the most recent expansion for much much longer than it was on live. On live, top guilds moved on from epic mobs to focus on Velious progression once their core was epic equipped. That left epic mobs to lower tier guilds that still needed the drops. On P99, the top guilds are still after the same mobs, so many more epic drops aren't needed by the guild doing the killing and are therefore available for MQing.

Anytime you make a rule you create a black market anyway. Not allowing characters to be sold or traded.. people just use other means of communication to buy characters for real $ or platinum and say it was a gift or a transfer. Basically the same as buying drugs or humans

If MQ's werent allowed there would be a whole lot of account sharing going on
