i always found that the elf merchants in LFAY were well stocked with gargoyle eyes. those buy and sell for a very negligible difference. it was easier to bind there and run back and forth than going all the way back to kelethin to bank.

I use garg eyes and peridots to transfer between toons.
Also, I buy up garg eyes and peridots when I see them on vendors
around Norrath to get rid of pocket change.

Why do you want to transfer plat this way?

Are you trying to find a way the GMs wouldn't think about checking?, for RMT probably?

Twinking over gear / gems on the ground between characters is risky. Period.

If you insist on doing it...

1) Move both characters to a very little used zone. I'm a fan of Kaladim B. Oggok is really good too. You want a combination of low NPC & low player character counts - both of them.
2) Once the characters are both where you need them to be, log out of the game entirely. Close the program. Close all programs on your computer. Run a Registry cleaner. Restart your machine.
3) Start up only EQ as your sole program. Toss the stuff on the ground and camp without pause. Don't waste a second. Log the second character on and grab that shit.

The method is all about percentage chances of something going wrong. Be paranoid. Narrow that percentage for failure to be as low as possible - that means taking the above steps.

All of that said, just transfer with someone you trust / someone that's high level in a guild in EC or something. It's just not worth the stress.

This thread has absolutely nothing to do with RMTing -- its about transferring plat/items between characters.

I don't even know what RMTing is. And I already know how to to transfer items. I've done it several times. I was just looking for items to buy with one character, transfer to the other, and then sell. Thank you, to those of you who answered with good suggestions.

The fact of the matter is, I don't know a lot of people in the game yet. I just recently started playing again. I'm not going to transfer my money with some one who simply says they're trustworthy. I got burned a few times back on Live circa '99-00. Besides, I like being self-reliant and don't like inconveniencing others. That being said, I do appreciate the offers of help.

Man, I'm just being straight up..

Camp and park both toons in EC to cut down on wait times, send a tell to someone 50+ in a respectable guild, (take screen shots if you're extra paranoid in the 0.009% chance you do get scammed to name and shame here also for GMs when you /petition them, and that's being extreme) and be done with it lol..

People transfer items everyday like this in EC.. myself included.

I usually ask strangers to transfer my stuff and I have not once been hustled on this server. On the contrary, it seems that 99% of this playerbase is 20+, mostly mature, and dedicated to being a desirable community member.
