Be sure to remember that account fast-switching is no longer exploiting.
You have to "exploit" something. What are you exploiting exactly by switching to a trader alt. Please do tell.

Exploiting the use of IP exemptions without regard to if it was advantageous is still an exploit afaik.

Exploiting an IP exemption would include 2 boxing or using it for some pve advantage. Don't see either here.

Applying for an IP exemption and then using it to fast switch EVEN ONCE is using the exemption in an exploitative manner. Exemptions are there so multiple people can play on the same router. Using them in any manner other than the aforementioned intended use is an exploitation of the exemption status regardless of whether or not the use was advantageous in a PVE/whatever situation.

You are really retarded. IP exemptions are given for ONE reason, multiple people playing from one IP. Any use of the IP exemption other than multiple people playing simultaneously is an exploit.

I believe they should be removed completely since, as Jeremy just pointed out, even if you have one legitimately you still gain an advantage by /quit'ing and logging in.

Have two people in one house wanting to play? Ah well, find another game. Thank all the rampant cheaters for abusing everything they can.

Fast switching = poofing?

I'm a rookie when it comes to rules lawyering and exploiting.

Didn't someone say poofing isn't acceptable? Rogean maybe?

Didn't ambrotos just post in the other thread that IP exemptions are only to be used under certain circumstances? Like what they are meant for. Multiple people playing from the same IP?

Wouldn't falsifying an IP exemption request be grounds for removing it? Or something worse?

Someone explain to me. Thx

Just remove all existing IP exemptions and have people apply for them on a case by case.

Draconic, blanket rule-changes will only make more work for volunteers (read: server staff) that already devote A LOT of their spare time already. And besides, isn't that the default system we've had in place for years? No one's account comes with an existing exemption, everyone applies on a case by case basis already.
