As weve all witnessed first hand, Derubael responds to alllllll petitions very quickly, sometimes within a few minutes. The question is, how long can this awesome GM keep up the amazing work? No doubt it will be hard to keep this standard up for multiple years or months. Hopefully derubael can continue it forever and we get more gm's like him!

I understand account trading is not allowed and Im glad but this guy did not trade anything, did he? Banning someone for /ooc seems draconic and over the top!

Im not defending this particular guy, Im just surprised you would not even take a second to maybe ask or warn him. What if its someone who has been gone for a while and does not know the policy has changed?

he offered his account for items from another game that can be purchased with real-life cash. this equates to RMT. RMTers get banned. it's pretty straight-forward.

Normally I don't like trigger happy GM's either, but in this case there isn't many options

If he got let off with a warning, then anyone could just go "WTS ALL MY CHARACTERS FOR (insert desired type of moneys)", and if they get caught they can just say "lol I was just playin doeeeee XD". So no one would ever get banned until after the fact, making too much work involved

the only reason this is not allowed anymore is due to the absurd amount of scamming associated with it. if the large majority of people involved in this were smart enough to avoid being scammed, it wouldnt be an issue.

people get banned for ooc if they abuse the ooc channel. its not for RL attacks, its not for racial slurs, and its certainly not for RMT
