The game play is at least tolerable in PVE when playing EQ.

On my mercenary, i got at least 3 skills i can activate only if something specific happens.

So if I parry, i can chain into another skill. If i evade, theres a skill i can follow it with. I can go behind the mob and backstab it, i can flank him from the side and do yet another skill. Id say it beats spamming shock of fire for 4 levels as a level 4 everquest wizard.

Not really the PVE is clunky, slow, and unresponsive as shit dude.

It made EQ feel fast paced and smooth and that's saying something lol.

pve in daoc is awesome , its just a different style, stick to leveling and selling chars berry

yaw, made a char on it. Rule lawyering getting out of hands on p99 lately with good chaps getting banned for political reasons, so will prob return to it as main game when it's more fun and less work.

Dont forget the little patch thats on this page, was preventing me from loggin, game needs to say somethin like 1.09 on loading screen not 1.11 and u get DAOC portal to launch the game.
