![]() well i will say the 20+ level 30-52 crowd I saw daily in RD led by champion Squire stopped logging in right when the xp nerf hit. Thats pretty demoralizing to a guild focused on helping folks develop on the server and progress towards the high end.
RD was a good guild that catches a lot of grief for doing the exact thing anyone in a 3rd guild position would do on this retarded stepchild of a server. not sure why people give RD so much grief - they added spice to the server and gave it a good breath of life for a few months. Now the server has evolved to a new phase like it does every 6 months or so. people making drama posts are the ones mad and rustled

I wonder how many of them quit Red and went straight over to Blue where the xp is even worse? We'll hear "but...but...groups" as a reason that moving to Blue was acceptable. The issue with that argument is that had those people not quit, they would have still had the same amount of grouping opportunities as before the changes...and could have easily just put in a little more work to get to the end. So yeah...it wasn't the xp. It was just casuals who probably would have quit after a month at 60 anyway. With the exception of Heartbrand, who I don't blame for getting frustrated when he realized how few backbones he had as his players /tantrum-ed off the server...

More trolls from Jibeknn... You seem like a generally cool guy in TS, you help your guild and like to PvP. I just don't get your RD hate. Did RD kill your puppy or molest you as a child? Look at the server when RD was around (200 pop), and then look at the server with RD gone (70 pop). I'm not saying that RD was the reason the pop was alot higher. I believe that it was mostly due to the XP bonus, but you have to admit this server was alot more fun with 3 major guilds around. I still have a fond memory of the big battles and three ways we had. hope that this server can have the population to support 3 guilds in the future. We have Uprising for new players to join, but are they throwing open planes raids? Is Uprising helping people get started on their epics? Is Uprising going to contest dragons? The answer to all three is no.

![]() pikrib im not entirely sure that you know what trolling is. but there is no sarcasm in this thread. I truly want red dawn to come back. I dont want to join them but i want them to come back. Theres only 1 reason that I left Red Dawn and was put off by them. 18v82. they tried to kill pvp off the server so they could simply gain pixels for themselves. a zerg alliance for self pixel gain to stop mass pvp on repop day brought respect levels to a staggering low.

But this has been debated / rehashed 100x. There aren't sufficient numbers to build a third raiding guild at the moment, and to be quite honest there are even enough numbers to build a second one currently. I don't take part in any activity in life in which I don't fully believe I can succeed at. Post exp nerf, there was no longer enough new players coming to the server from which I could continue to recruit and build for Velious. I knew velious would require an active raiding roster of 75+ members, which an average online raid force of between high 30's and low 50's. When it became apparent that it would no longer be feasible to field those numbers, or anything close to them, I freed the loyal members of their obligations to the guild and encouraged them to go their own way. I have no interest in banging my head against the wall in Velious with 20 people. I'm sorry you think that 20+ people, mainly blue recruits, completely stopped logging in due to pixel bargains, but that's your right to believe whatever you like. However, I have no intention of bringing Red Dawn back. I don't believe the EXP change and other changes will bring sufficient people back to create a large enough pool of players to recruit, though I think the changes are good for the server. I also am burnt out from the last six month run of the guild, and just don't have the desire to put the time in necessary to start from scratch. I.e., power leveling people, 24/7 recruiting, playing out of group cleric and other needed classes, multiple planar clears a week, negotiating pixels, raising guild funds, dealing with inter member drama, etc., etc. Especially now that the world has stopped shaking for over a month, pixels are on lock down again this time to the new Nihilum aka Azrael. It was a fun ride in Red Dawn, but almost all of my friends are in Nihilum now and I can help rebuild that guild, rather than expend all my efforts on a third that the population can't support. However, you may see me lead something on Teams99 depending on the release date / ruleset / business of real life. I feel that Teams99 might lend it self to far more casual play, which would be something I'd be greatly interested in. - Top Jew
