All Azrael talks about is the past lol. Their main defense to doing exactly what Nihilum did is that Nihilum did it first. Yet they scream they would never do the same thing as Nihilum and they are right. Nihilum killed shit and beat people without 10 posts a day talking about how good they were. Azrael only plays to beat their chest with one another.

lol right. 95 members listed active in DKP, never saw a raid over 59 people even during prime time repops with known spawn timers - and that 59 was the only time I saw over 50 people. Our numbers for the last 5 PD kills: 26, 32, 42, 38, 41. That's an average of 35.8. What did you say you were averaging again? Oh, 35-40?

Numbers don't lie. You doing more or less the same shit we were, uncontested (like we were) with the same amount of people as we used. You aren't some revolutionary band of resistance fighters, you're just the newest blubie guild to pop up.

It is all out of frustration I'm sure. A lot of these players have devoted their lives to this game and the environment they want will never happen on this server. Azrael wants a competitive guild that enjoys PvP as much as them but this server can't field that type of numbers or community. It blows, I get it.

You have one group that just wants to kick other guilds asses in PvP and another that just wants to progress in PvE. The PvP crew gets discouraged and quit when they get stomped at their own game and the PvE crew gets bored/discouraged when they can't slay dragons every time they log in. These two guilds don't do well on the same server as the only two options.

Yeah, I think there is some truth to that. I really think both guilds were happier with Nihilum on top killing dragons and Azrael playing the underdog role. Now with roles reversed its like a fucking bizzaro universe and nobody is happy.

A lot of Nihilum vets stopped logging in when the resistance stopped logging in. I literally went off the deep end from boredom just killing PvE targets all the time. Nihilum isn't as PvE oriented as you might think. A lot of the old members just want to PvP but Azrael always breaks up and stops contesting. The difference this time is the fact that so many vets took breaks and haven't come back like the Azrael members have. I am actually happy that Azrael is getting mobs now. I just hope their numbers stay up because when Velious release rolls out it should be a lot more fun.

Not sure I can blame Azrael for not sticking around to fight 20 on 40 while being pretty outgeared. They have some gear now though, and if they can keep going with 30-40 even if Nihilum has fucking 100 there are still so many targets in Velious that they'll get plenty of loot.
