Red isn't as bad as once thought, HOWEVER, do not be fooled. Unless you bring your own, there are less than 0 groups. There is no meaningful PvP until your 40s and even then, it seems to just be a smattering of shit talk PvP and overgeared players doing whatever they please. Most PvP on red consists of two parties talking shit, thinking they can win a fight, then one side plugging or eating an NPC death when they realize they can't. Then more shit talk.

This is NOT PvP.

I'm trying so hard to like Red but so far I haven't had the best of experiences. LFG can last hours.. I've been LFG for 6 hours today and nothing. I tried soloing and being kept out of dungeons by a twinked alt. So really all I am doing is nothing and getting pretty bored.

i am interested in joining red i suppose. have a couple of inquiries though,

what classes are in highest demand

If a caster, will people provide spell / basic gear / leveling help

if a melee will people provide basic gear / leveling help

would be 2 individuals playing together

Casters don't need much help really. While my wizard couldn't quad, I managed to level to 49 nearly naked before all the changes, a lot of it solo. Necros can literally play naked and still be really decent.

If you're playing as a duo, a monk/shaman, necro/shaman, enchanter/cleric, mage/mage combo could all be really good.

Don't worry about what's "needed", half of the people leveling clerics at the moment probably rolled one for that reason... and while you can never have too many clerics, there's never enough dps in the groups I've been in recently [You must be logged in to view images.
