Just reopen red

Red has maybe 5-10% firegiant population, rest of the server is mostly non toxic. I'm a red player myself and have been for 5 months, I just avoid rnf and other parts of the server that seem full of the toxic sect. Been doing such a good job am proud to say i still do not know most of their names, nor do i make it a point to do so

LOVING red, came back recently to see.. alot of changes but still good peeps around. You have those kiddys who like to try and rustle people up for there own negative amusement but as you mature you learn to tone those people out.

Ya, actually the red server has been really awesome over all. More helpful in general than a lot of other games I've played... Toxic players are in every game.

Although, TBH. If you don't have the constitution to disregard verbal abuse. You probably shouldn't play on the red server. Even in toxic communities, it's pretty easy to find a niche in the community you can play with and get along with. Although, I'm not so sure I even agree with this. I was 17 once too, and lacked maturity, sometimes its hard not to act a fool

The thing is,... There are no 17 year olds that play EQ on p99. I'd guess that damn near everyone is over 30. The game came out a long time ago and this server attracts people that played on live wanting to relive the experience. There really is no acceptable excuse for the crazy stuff that gets spouted around.

I second that. I talked alot of junk about red, just from seeing the few names on forums always presenting themselves as such unpleasant pricks. But being forced to play there over the weekend was extremely fun and I'm sure I'll keep my toon there rolling. Was a blast, out of everyone I ran into there was MAYBE 5 pricks, and that's during a massive population spike to bring out all the PKers to torture the newbies. I imagine without it being such a temporary boost there would have been half as many avid asshats.

Ya. Devs shoulda kept red open as promotion. This was probably the best red99 promotion to date, even if they are promoting a terrible game for pvping.
