I think the absence of global OOC will be nice for a change. It will encourage people to use a particular zone for trading. The gamma isn't bad at all.

All trolling aside, i simply dont get why devs didnt pick on the many alternative ideas that were proposed, after having failed so many times to do so in the past:

- Multiple City OOC, leading to say, Gfay becoming a trading hub and chit chat central.

- A timer on OOC, to let new fishes find groups

You'd think by now they would know better

No reason to remove global OOC, everytime server population goes up they make some change that doesn't help their server.

Has been proven time and time again.

Stop fucking with things if it isn't broken.

need to keep global ooc!

tbh i find it harder to actually pay attention to ooc than not to when im playing the game.

really only use it for ports groups and trades.

It was already close to impossible to find a group during euro hours, with ooc gone, yea fat chance. Horrible change.

I fully understand this server aims to be as classic as possible. I am convinced however that when design has to pick between "server pop being able to sustain itself" and "classic", the population should get priority.

This isn't EQlive, server doesn't have 5k unique players. Concepts that worked on eqlive will hurt P99, and some concepts that weren't classic are pretty much a necessity here.

I feel the above is largely being ignored atm, it will hurt the pop really fast.
