At the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with minor PTSD, Major DD, and Bipolar disorder. Its been a rough one trying to figure out what kind of medication will level me out without having too many adherent effects on my routine life... For the most part, I've stopped being a complete dick to people irl, and have gone into a depression induced sub-coma full-time. It sucks, but at least I am here. Even if I'm not sure what side of my personality is actually who I want to be... I've struggled with jobs the entire year as well, from the beginning to end. Its discouraging when you go from having the same job for years and years to stooping low enough to catch something part time that you know you can keep, because you either can't sleep correctly or you can't handle people yet and be aware of the decisions that either you, or the medication, is making. It takes time, but don't give up.

Don't ever feel like you are alone in this battle, because considering half of America would scoff at some of the crap we deal with and say its just in our head, its just that... in our head. No matter how we may have been raised, it still boils down to a minor chemical imbalance that we can not help but try to better ourselves with over time.

A tip from me to you, if you can combat it without medication, please do it. An emotional lobotomy like Paxil should always be last resort for those who don't enjoy taking medication for the rest of their lives. I still wonder what's going to happen when they apply the maximum dosage to me... More or less afterward. Do I finally get Xanax after the bullshit I've put myself through? Hopefully so.

Almost everyone can legitimately say they are depressed. I'd just stop trying to find something to blame it on and just accept it as a human trait. Think about all the people who have lived throughout history in much worse types of conditions. I'm sure many of them felt the same way or even worse. Life in general is hard and depressing to everyone in one way or another. Especially when you get old and your loved ones start to pass away as you get lonelier and lonelier while your body painfully deteriorates into a rotting corpse in eternal darkness. And that's if you are considered "lucky" and aren't brutally killed or baked to death by radiation and chemotherapy.

Deal with it.

Obviously you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about, but its ok. When you are alone and in the intense moment of despair because of your baby boomer brethren fucking the world sideways, you can look for help because of people like us. We don't get medicated because of a few short moments of depression, its an everlasting and intangible mental fight that a lot of people do go through, except it has a constant factor dangling over the minds of some individuals, and thankfully some of these individuals look for help instead of taking things into their own hands while they are alone.

But you probably don't care about science, or what its done in the past 50 years for the human race, even in terms of neurology. Deal with it.

Just stop crying over everything and man up. The women In your life must think you're a joke. Just rub one out and take a nap like a real man. You're lucky technology has evolved to be able to pamper you sissies instead of survival of the fittest.

I'd hate to be stuck In any situation with you that required any type of mental toughness. Anyone can go to the doc and choose from a variety of the same meds you take. It's a business, and you're just a client they want coming back.

Don't get fooled by mental disorder shit. Some diagnosis's are legit MH problems for sure but I work in the field and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of Americans suffer from Anxiety, Depression, Bi Polar disorder, etc.

They make a fortune off prescribing medications for the most basic shit. Everyone suffers anxiety and depression at some point in their life. You could argue almost everyone out there is also bi polar at certain points in life. A diagnosis doesn't define you as a person. Don't let that shit bring you down.

Exactly what I'm saying. Sorry mine isnt as sugar coated. I do understand that there are people with more serious mental issues. It's just hilarious that I see so many of these so called "super depressed" people have time to do all this social networking etc.

Perfect example is Aviann talking about depression etc, then posting dozens of selfies on the pic bored. You're not depressed, you're a self absorbed entitled product of todays society that needs attention to feel happy and has a inability to deal with your life's simple problems.

It's called being a human adult. Deal with it...
