![]() If you get killed and your group boots you, you are better off without them. ANd if you happen to train them while getting your body back...they are the ones who made things a lot harder than they should be by kicking you.

![]() I've had that when you are replacing someone and invite someone to run halfway across the world, and then the rest of your group leaves before he gets there, and you were the one who invited the person over so makes that person instantly hate you, when it's not even your fault.
I've not grouped with any genuinely bad players on p99 so far, or if i have, the rest of the group picked up their slack well enough for it to not be threatening. I find grouping with bad players more challenging than being with great players [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] makes it more fun.

![]() I agree with just about everything that's been said thus far, but group dropping after a death appears to be a recent bug-- nothing more. I've been playing with an rl friend for the past few days, and every time he dies (or the once I did [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) our duo group has been disbanded.

![]() I'm as flabbergasted as some of the above posters. In my tenure, there wasn't even a question about what to do when a group mate died. There was no talk, no debate... we all just went into CR mode.

![]() I find a lot of group issues, or really any person to person sort of issue, stem largely from lack of communication. As the OP said about his/herself, I'm someone who will send tells repeatedly to folks that I'm grouping with/trading with etc really only to keep the flow of communication open in the event of a change in plans. Being dropped from a group due to death is disgusting, however if the situation was for instance - if you died and then sat at your bind spot expecting a rez, or expecting your group to remedy the situation without any communication on your part, you're doing nothing but making the decision to replace you easier on the rest of the group. Not saying that's what happened in the OPs situation, and it goes the other way too. If a player dies, even if a CR isn't doable for a good amount of time or not doable altogether, the only thing people want is just a tell or chat letting them know what's going on.
edit - Consider if your ranger, rogue, offtank etc (non essential class) dies in UGUK and is bound in WFP. If the surviving group members identify asap that a CR isn't doable, then they are allowing their deceased members time to hoof it back and resume exping. | ||
