Given that they intend to provide melee players with weapon augments during classic to compete with caster DPS... I don't think they intend to address this.

The new Blue Recycle server will have a much better economy. You should just play Blue until it launches in probably 6 to 8 months.

Like I said earlier, "Ragefire an awkward bastard of old memories and... whatever the fuck EQ Live has turned into."

There are *no* "private" servers that come anywhere close to providing a remotely authentic experience for Luclin and onward. While Ragefire may be a bastard... it's still going to be the best way to experience expansions like Luclin and PoP.

Anyhow. I'm planning to play on both blue and Ragefire. Especially when the new cycle server comes out.

Even with the economy... P99 is still very worth playing on. It is quite literally one of the best Everquest experiences one can possibly have right now. Hell... it's one of the best truly free to play games around too.

I am hoping the fact you have to pay to play on Ragefire will reduce the amount of people boxing, but people will still pay for 3 or 4 accounts if they really want to.
I think Newbie Armor quests are still in as well, but the pet damage is really the biggest issue. Pets out damaging melee without the caster doing anything will mean a hugely imbalanced population.
I wish they could put some sort of permanent debuff on caster pets to reduce their dps at least until Luclin comes out.
