![]() Im glad this was finally clarified.
I was always terrified of putting up an afk tag when i was camping long spawns for fear of being booted. Now i can /afk yes im camping it, im pooping or doing laundry while I wait for the pop. without worrying about some D-bag jacking the camp.

![]() You all need to wake up and find some logic here. The only time someone should be allowed to take the mob from someone sitting on top of its spawn point is if they don't respond when the mob pops. Otherwise there is no problem sitting there keeping a mental reminder when to come back to a spawn that is notorious for taking countless hours.
We all know none of you will sit there for 16 hours straight, staring at an empty spawn point, that you will eventually have to afk, probably to poop. And if you don't have a sock handy, well, you might just have to do it during that 16 min window where some random person may or may not ask you if you're camping it. Basically, respect others and play nice. I figured it was obvious that the rule regarded afk pet exp'ing, perhaps not. Don't knock on the guy for having things to deal with for 15 minutes at a time in life, regardless of what they may be. You all would be finding something to do if you were camping Gynok, whether it be porn, tv, wife porn, whatever.

EDIT: Ellan, I think the point that was trying to be made about people not caring about your real life, is that its pretty much irrelevant. I would not treat you any differently than any other player who has no job, no wife and no kid. Having these things changes nothing and entitles you to nothing, inside the world of EQ. Now, whether or not thats what you intended to say with your original post, who knows. I'm not claiming that.

![]() If someone is sitting in a cleared room they apparently have the situation under control. Sending threatening tells does not help anyone.
Thanks for the input Nilbog

![]() back in old eq days we would log to a text file and have a second prog that parsed the file looking for stuff. then we'd sit the 'canary' character where the pop would kill it, and it'd notify us so we could be the first to spot a spawn.
also with many spawns there is a PH, and sometimes even more so there can be other NPCs that give indications when a spawn will happen. Knowing the PH is part of the game.
