Love your work!

Will hopefully see a few Infernus lads there - as this is sitting right in our prime time (around midday Saturday for most).

5 years later, nope. Killed Inny a number of times, but I'll never prioritize it over a warrior or bard epic or something more important to the guild. So we've killed inny pre revamp about 5-10 times tops. Never has AG seen a staff drop.

With the revamp though, once they ACTUALLY fix the mage epic dropping, I'll get it sooner or later.

You're a hero, bud. Keep up the lord's work. I'm praying for you to get that epic [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It's really not that bad. There's a couple problem areas to avoid (second floor church and second floor maestro hall). The proximity aggro through the walls, the second floor mobs that ignore walls, and the giant jump down gets the puller a huge head start to set up for a split of the new tasty mobs on the first floor.

I was going to pull it....but....my wife bought me a ticket to see star wars tomorrow night. I'll be firmly lodged between two strangers dressed as a storm trooper and a wookie. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I meant more for low end laptops and struggling old PCs... the slowdown is quite something [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Never pulled in the new Hate but with the amount of stuff that CAN move at once it looks quite dicey up there at a glance [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Lazy Skado... Star Wars as an excuse not to pull Hate and force Poor Lil'Someyung to pull it... Many wipes will be had. I have yet to pull new hate.

Thanks friend. I hope we have some monks come though. Skado was going to lead the pulling. I'm sure someone will step up to the plate.

Aside from not running around aggroing things, listening to directions and generally not being a schmuck, what do I need to be prepared for, particularly as a mage? How much time do I need to plan for?
Two major rules for raiding anything that you've never raided before:

A. stay with the group. Do not leave the group for any reason other than gating out of the zone or camping out or dying. If you get lost, immediately freeze and die or camp out or hide and ask for help. The absolute worst thing you can ever do is move even an inch outside of camp without a purpose while the raid is not engaged. You will train the group and it will be a bad time.

B. Never ever attack anything at all thats not being engaged by the group, this includes AOE spells and procs.

Dont expect to contribute a lot of damage at 47. Just play your part and follow the two rules and everything will be classic as hell
