You're missing the point. Having a vagina or certain chromosomes doesn't determine your gender. How do you know you're the gender everyone tells you you are? Is that how you identify or do you just go with what you're told?

No, I am not missing the point, rather it is you. If our physiology doesn't tell us what our gender is, then nothing does. Why go through a process of reassigning physical gender if our physical gender is as meaningless as you argue it is?

You're talking about sex, not gender. It's incredibly insensitive of you to dismiss this the way you are and clearly shows how privileged you are by portraying yourself as a straight person. You might not be the gender you think you are. I really suggest you do some soul searching. There's a whole world of experiences and opportunities waiting for you, but you're prohibiting yourself from experiencing them because of some barbaric belief in gender roles that your neanderthal parents instilled in you.

Holy smokes! My friend, you are a virtual NPR sound board. It is "incredibly insensitive of you" to toss out the talking points of your masters as if nobody else is aware of them and hasn't already considered them. Perhaps it is you who has some learning to do?

You can't get away from the sex that has been given to you by nature. If you have a penis and a y chromosome you can do all the "willing" and "choice making" you wish, indeed, you might even have the money to have your penis cut off, but you're still a male as chosen by nature.
