Looking for some gear upgrade advice for my Enchanter

Cha > HP > Int/Mana

Most enchanters are bad. They either sit there with a charmed pet that regularly breaks and wastes the healer's mana because they have not runed themselves or they sit there with an animation casting their awful nukes.

Chanter's primary rule is crowd control. If you can manage all facets of that in the group while maintaining a charmed pet, then go for it, you are a good enchanter. If you cannot, then do not.

I can count on one hand the number if enchanters that I have grouped with whom I trusted to properly cc. Almost always, whether we had a chanter or not, I cc'd with root on my paladin and ranger, because the chanter generally wasn't reliable.
