Detoxx started another raid guild to challenge Rampage, named Forsaken. They had some success at first, but predictable problems set in. Most people that really want pixils are bandwagoners by nature. They stack on the guild that's most powerful -- uninterested in the possible benefits of being a core member of rising guild (risk payoff). Thus, Forsaken bleed members to Rampage because they were getting the biggest targets and most dragons.
From my memory, Rampage hardly took any Forsaken members at all, so I'd love to see a list of names to back up that claim. I'd say most Forsaken just took a break or ghosted.

I almost forgot the best part, the Vulak we killed that week dropped the BiS monk fist, Gharn's Rock of Smashing. Despite all the time Huko put in, it never dropped until then. The incident is portrayed in this documentary footage:

I've seen a lot of Hitler vids but this is by far the most accurate.

Detoxx ran Hoku off the server (the second time), but Hoku did awake the sleeper, deny him gear, and now claims to have won Velious...or at least I'm sure he sees it that way.

We rotated items between the 3 guilds....its just a fact. The only key mob was Yelinak. I'm not even positive if you guys went for the keys then. So for all I know you got none....I don't see why anyone should care about that give rats ass. How much ST loot did Rampage give ya?

Side note: I think the warders being killed by F/A and the gharns dropping might have contributed a little bit to Rampage blowing it up...but more likely them dominating nearly uncontested for 2-3 months in Velious and then going through 3-4 months of serious competition burned out their playmakers. It had to end at some point. Nobody can do what they were doing forever.
It was one more thing to track.

Those who don't care about history are doomed to hear that stupid quote repeated.

It's nice to hear FA/AF members admitting that it was likely burnout that caused Rampage to split and not cause they were somehow scared of them like the RNF rhetoric was when they first split. I got a good laugh out of those posts.
