port = 370-450 mana (I port you then I either gate or teleport to where I want to go after your port)
Pickup + port = 520-600 mana (I port to a druid ring where you are then " " See above) For most druids that's a sizeable chunk of their mana (about 1/4th for the pickup situation for raiding druids). I can probably kill a hill giant with that amount of mana, if you donate less than a hill giant drops 30p, then I may not be so inclined to come pick you up. Anyone offering 50pp+ I'll take you up on that unless I'm preoccupied with something else. 10pp from a level 50 necro, i'll have to pass :P.

Im usually telling a druid something like "Can you port me from x to y for 40p?" Offering between 30-60p + crack depending on how fast i want to get there. Thats when im on my ench of course.
From a lvl 50 i expect at least 25p + for a port, i dont demand it, and dont say anything if i get less, but i will probably remember (most likely not, lol). From lowbies i dont expect anything. I usually cancel donations for Crack on my Ench, its fast casted, memmed most of the time and costs little mana.

Man this makes me feel bad as I've only given 5pp or so on average as that represents anywhere from 5-10% of my worldly fortune at any given time. I'm only a 19th chanter so far.

I gotta say I never expect anything. It's like getting tipped at work. Some times you get a really nice one and some times you get a shitty one. If I have time I will port someone and if not I wont.
Honestly it is alot of time most days. I can't remember the last time I have logged in and not been bombarded with 3-10 messages asking for ports. This sort of shit takes a lot of time to get through, but it's donations so what teh feck. If I don't feel like rolling the dice then I will say I am busy. When I am spending some dedicated time porting then I always advertise that I am *selling* ports (but I still run on a donation basis.) It's all a matter of how much someone can spare/wants to give. Corpse runs always fly free. Newbs fly free, usually, or very cheap. But I never spend enough energy to remember someone who has shorted me. It's just not worth the gray hairs! ~Olly the Druid~

It's amazing how long you can spend auctioning "WTB port" and then as soon as you give an actual figure of like 50p how many porters come flying out of the woodwork [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Either give a fixed price for a port, or don't complain when someone only gives you 5pp, the over donations will compensate for the smaller ones.

I also remember how much people pay and I'll do more for them when they call again.
