This server is not about what you want, this server is about how it was...get over yourself.

Or it could be that PvP in EQ was simply a lot of fun, and since 99% of you never played on an EQ PvP server you just don't know. Its the more logical explanation, but believe whatever you want.
I believe the word you were looking for there is "less," or perhaps "least," as in "it's the less logical explanation."

EQ PvP is fun but this is definitely not the server for it.

I'm in the 1%. Still don't want it here. I'm sure it would be great fun -- somewhere else.

Heard this argument from so many people, even back on Live. I was especially fond of the ex-PvP types that reverted to calling everyone "blue" if they couldn't reach an agreement, because it showed them for the gutless morons they really were. I mean, you can't really invoke the bluebie argument if you're on a blue server yourself, can you?

Why isn't the server PvP?

Because the majority of the server is composed of people trying too hard, douchebags, and griefers.

Imagine a server where I wasn't banned, and no GM would save you from my trains, imagine me rolling into your camps killing off your whole group, looting your items and deleting them just to piss you off. Imagine if you're casual and can only play 2 hours a night and 95% of that play time is being corpse camped.

Imagine never getting shit done in a raid because incessant training, you'd see the loading screen more than you'd see a piece of planar drop.

So why isn't it PvP?

Simple fact, the majority of you couldn't handle it, and Nilbog knows if he flagged it tomorrow half of you would quit because you'd be steamrolled by several douchebags with vendettas. It wasn't this bad on live because there were checks on every pvp action, here it would just be giving griefers a free ride to attention whore on R&F.

Oh i know, i played on Sullon. Stuff that went down there (as you mentioned) would not fly here, for the most part the demographics have changed and dare i say many people have grown up (i dare i dare). I for one have no desire to go back to that portion of the game. I do not think the server pop would die due to lack of "HARDCORE" I just think that most people (95%+) are not playing here for that part of the game.

Still, you try too hard young sherlock =D

The thread title is a good idea. Anyone who thinks otherwise likes pooping in socks.
