I find giving items to new players I am grouping with on my lowbies works best. In the past 2 weeks I gave a warrior a full set of banded, 55hp rings, and a couple weapons and the guy is lvl 18 now, still playing, and going strong.
The second guy, a wizard of all classes to start with had cloth and a cracked staff. I gave him two 55hp rings, a cone of the mystics, 2 weapons and a robe. That wizard who i met at lvl 5 is now 16. I just think it's more fulfilling giving items you know the player can use. Also, it's easier to judge what type of player they are when you group with them, so you can determine if you think they may continue playing and will use the items. Too many scumbags and people looking for handouts will flock to this post now. I will never tell someone how or what they should give to other people, but I just think using the forums is not the best way to help those in need out. ***Let's be honest. Using forums isn't classic. Most of the people in most need won't be reading the server forums section anyway. | ||

Well if skew is putting her name in the hat.
I am a multi faceted player whose bard is in dire need of the iksar illusion to run safely around in Cabilis. There are much needed quests that I cannot complete due to fear of getting jump by the many roamers of the city. Please Sowgirl you are the only one that can save me. | ||

fuck everyone else give it to me they suck and won't ever make it to level 60. the few who do make it to 60 won't become top end raiders and won't be any good at poopsocking/FTE racing. I will be awesome at it, so just give it to me because these other noobs are just dead weight and a waste of time.

Fairly new to P1999, lvl 28 druid recreated from my old char back on The Nameless that I played for years. Having a ton of fun visiting zones that I never saw on live. I was hesitant to try the same class but it's been so long, it's like going back to playing baseball when you were young. The basics are there and you just start to knock the rust off.

Hi, been in and out of p99 for a while max level char is a 22 mage i enjoy it but only really play him to earn coin to kit out a mele, so not really what i want to play. always loved sk but they are so gear dependent. this could give me a boost to start the char i want and make some real progress.

Hello, been playing a bit here and there for sometime now trying different classes etc. I really like my level 8 warrior and my level 8 necromancer just haven't decided yet on which level 8 warrior is Kuvarien and level 8 necromancer is Siphonz. I played on karana as a shadowknight. I am greatful for the help and kindness of this server that I have seen lately very nice of people to go out of their way to help others.
