I am glad to see that you are going to give it a try. However, I find what you are saying hilarious. It lacks quest depth, EQ Classic doesn't have that many quests and the quests it does have don't really have depth. That's what you do when you a play a game is press combination's of buttons to do shit, LOL. EQ classic is different, where it's a slower form of combat but don't make ether one any better or worse. It just depends on your taste. Yes, the graphics are up to date but I hope they come out with better and more armor designs.

EQ is a nostalgia ride, doesn't cost me a subscription fee nor the 50 euro for the game itself. EQ lets me browse reddit, forums and other shit while I play. I know exactly what to expect from EQ. and yes, I expect more from a game that's released in 2011 than from a pioneer in 3D and online gaming from 1999. Still gonna try out the beta, who knows I'll be convinced.

Can't knock it, until you try it. If I had that attitude, I never would have played EQ Classic. I would have missed out on a lot of fun!
