Wonder if you could ever make a Kinect version of EQ. Would be boring as hell for a cleric or caster (too much sitting), but could be fun for a melee class.

dont have to bash the wii, i was skeptical about it at first as well, but its a great gaming device for children, ages 4-12, im 24, and every once in a while i go to my sis's place and we all play the mario games, great for family all around, i grew up on nitendo, donkey kong, ect ect

Great for kids because EVERY SINGLE game isn't a first person shooter.

Just got Kinect working perfect with EQ.

Autohotkey had to be put in play to make turning slower, it introduces a pause and a specific amount of time to hold "turn."

I can't find really good audio software to manage spells (voice to command).

I have voice-binds just for "FD" "mend" "pull" and "stand" but given the particular software I'm using for voice it can pick up words that start with a "D" as FD. (need suggestion for better voice prog)


The kinect motion is perfect for running around, Kelethin run in 10 parsecs. FAAST was in play for this.


Video inc at some point, will drop in the autohotkey and the kinect binds too.

FD, jump, target nearest npc( left leg lift), and auto attack (right leg lift) is the most hilarious thing ever.

Optimized for Kelethin on a char named Glisterin (1 mag)

Then in TT on Salty (51monk)

I'll work on cleric when I get better audio software to call spells and targeting group members.
