Thanks for putting this event on. But I want to echo what Aalpha/Bbeta said... the wording is kind of confusing. Does each guild only get one group? Can a 6 man group be from various guilds or even un-guilded?

It will be far different from the origional ToT though.. players gear wasn’t nearly as elite back then so casters could actually land spells. Now teams will consist of 1 bard and 5 melees.

Although this GM event will still be great, it would also be cool for a group challenge GM event against random tough mobs or 1 mob. Each group would have a totally random challenge. One group may have a singular tough mob, while another group may have 4-5 moderately tough mobs, while another 20-30 easy mobs etc.. Thus, a group would need to be well balanced and thought out for the unexpected challenge. Furthermore, this would be more inline with p99 blue server and what a well balanced group on p99 blue looks like (Enc, Clr, Tank, DPS, etc, etc). Maybe a GM event in future could be more like the later.

Why don't you just create temporary characters on blue for the red teams? This isn't difficult. It's really, really dumb to have a team-based PvP tournament and not allow PvP-dedicated players to compete.

I hope GMs/Staff would reconsider this. Red would probably only muster a handful of groups if at that, so a red-only tournament will be extremely small.

Plus this would be a unique experience where red and blue players can interact.
