Again, I don't understand why texturing the rest or some of the UI in the stone look of the buttons in those screenshots is considered such a no..no.
Might have something to do with how the game was setup. Fullscreen was transparent and the stone ui was not. The velious UI was transparent as well. We were on CRT monitors at the time with lower resolutions. Some things don't transfer well to LCD doing the same.

If you are asking why things like the group box etc are not textured then it would fall outside of the aim of this UI to recreate the original. It would be a custom UI in that regard which opens the door to Duxa because "You already have a custom UI.. don't make me notch my bow.. Rogean!"

Besides some guys can't color within the lines and will find a means for a custom one, which will work fine for the 1% of guys that just can't.. that is until it gets blabbed about which will happen. Loose lips sink your ships. Guys like to use these things to make the game easier and feed them more information... some of them choose to troll these boards spouting about how the game is too easy.

So one major setback to our UI issue is that we cant hit F10... It just doesnt exist in Titanium.

So, back on live, when you had to memorize your spells while using the transparent UI, you would flop over to the stone UI and then back... because its just hard to see anything in those transparent windows in the dark for anyone!

But, we just cant do that. So a "custom" solution may be our best rout, but if we start getting crazy with custom solutions, then that's going to make other people upset.

Allowing anyone to use any UI would allow some players an advantage, but again some of you noticed a dont ask/dont tell thing that I think is going to open up those problems down the orad anyway lol :cringe emoji:

Which is why I think we're going to have to do some thinking, some polls, and make some custom content choices that makes the majority happy.

FWIW I just like to make buttons look pretty and personally I'm all for creating custom content, but I dont ever want to force any of my ideas onto someone else, so for now it's been all about as little of that as possible!

I think we should setup some polls in a few months (the staff wants to play too!) and then consider making some changes for the folks that havent been able to get used to the current changes.

Someone claimed the other day they still had the blue bar on their exp bar because they downloaded some UI. Not sure what they were referring to.

I wish we could do custom marble for every window, spellbook, chat windows, evertying.

And then I wish we could figure out a way to make right clicking the window, and selecting "textured" would swap between the custom one and the transparent classic ones.

But that is likely an extraordinarily large/not possible? project.

But that way we could default focus on a "classic" UI, and then we could optional focus on a "custom classic" UI.

As for all the other win dings, like %'s, mana, blue exp bars... I'm afraid if we don't include them players will just figure out how to include them themselves, and we'll have to address how that impacts the server down the road too. Personally I always think everyone is right in this conversation and there is no correct answer, since we're working with incredibly strange constraints being a mod and all heh

Was just hoping to have like a Horizontal Spellbar / Hotbar. My brain just doesn't like how it is now... not looking for additional functionality. Just some customization.

So pretty much this for now... alright.

Can someone post a screenshot of what their UI looks like? My is completely transparent with little X boxes so small i struggle to even click on them. I'm wondering if the all in one installer messed mine up because mine doesn't appear to be classic, at least from what I can remember.

The UI is kind of small if you play at 1080p or higher. Eventually you get used to clicking on the small X's. Everything should be transparent except for bags, trade window, and the spellbook.

Has any noticed that with this UI you can’t see your total/remaining mana? All you get is your blue bar. Inventory doesn’t display mana like hp,ac and atk.

This UI is broken. Need to throw it out. No good.
