Well it literally happened in the span of minutes so whoever was doing the suspension is still most likely around. It was while I was posting on the forums and I was at the character select screen. I havn't played at all today. Just did my normal routine to see what kinda of drama is on the forums today so I made a few posts and insta suspension.

After this im just gonna never visit the forums again outside whatever staff posts for patch info, changes or the wiki.

So the player Daale level 45 enchanter from <Seal Team> ran by my mistmoore pond group a few days ago. He sniped our glyped ghoul with a shield while we were pulling. He chain nuked killed the mob, looted the shield ran off in front of full group. Entire group called him out on it in OOC. I called him a "Faggot". Then I asked the zone if I should petition and if anything would be done. Everyone said nothing would be done really.

Daale gloated in ooc "join <Seal Team> today we get loots" basically bragging bout what he did. Then him or someone else /reported me for saying the word "Faggot" to Daale for his illegal play and I catch a 1 week suspension from staff.

So basically instead of petitioning him you did something stupid and now you both deserve suspensions.

You can't use that slur now or in classic. You'd have always been suspended for that. Its irrelavent to your group story. All that matters is you harassed someone and got suspended.

I harassed someone? that came into our camp, grabbed our rare, he got the shield, gloated in ooc to join his guild because there is nothing we can do bout it and if we want loots in the future we have to join <Seal Team> Everyone says name and shame and in frustration I call him out on his needling in ooc and say the word "Faggot" and I catch a 7 day suspension, he walks away scott free with the loot, being a complete douche and I harassed him.

Pretty sure he just harassed a full party and im the bad guy.

What he did was very wrong, but that doesn't mean it's open season for anyone else to start using that kind of language or breaking rules. Petition quietly, let the staff deal with him...and if anyone was streaming or recording at the time (sad that it comes to that), then thats a bonus.
