My friend lost two young neighbors. She almost died.

I was so sick during this last spike I wound up in the ER and got a secondary ear infection believe it or not.

And I've been walking. Getting sunlight. Cleaning. Showering. Etc... doing the vitamin! I have not been that sick since 2001. Mortally ill. I was in the upswing before..like round IV of covid...

Virus is no joke. And I think my jacked up J&J shot and prior 1st wave exposure in 2018 helped.

I do think it will be easier going forward for everyone. Especially if they look after their health carefully and get quick care.

The thing is fighting people over masks and vaccines isn't going to be helpful. We need to change society and not by removing freedoms or punishing people on the edge already emotionally and economically. We need people to freely choose to be healthy and conscientious. There's no way to use force to do that. We can provide opportunities. Education. Even making people work for it a bit will give them a better sense of value for it.

Vaccines should be free. Testing should be free. Because they are not materially themselves that expensive. And we can collectively reward the science lab guys we can't do it without.

We should not reward people for being assholes or bullies. Mask or no mask. Red or blue hat. Stop putting up with bullies. Learn how to talk to bullies without starting shit. And don't go around threatening macho shit.

Sit the fuck down and learn how to be Ukrainian for 5 minutes.

Vax should never be mandatory. We want people to be healthy and able to go to work. We want them to be responsible and take sick days. Not eat their vacation. In mortal fear of winding up waiting outside shelters for a decade. That costs everyone way the fuck more money unilaterally. Including those CEOs that got bailed out + bonuses this year.
