Same story with Cryosilk Robes and Lustruous and everything else that stopped dropping after the people who play the most, get the items they want before everyone else. Just something you have to accept while playing on this server, you can't always get what you want.

The server I played on in Classic only 1 guild got the mistwalkers before they were taken out of game. Pretty classic for my experience!
