If they wanted money, they could get it in an instant. "Hey guys, we need cash for a new Green server" ... two hours later they'd have $10k+.

I'm not saying they'd object to more donations or anything, I'm just skeptical that a lack of money is what is holding up Green 2.0.

My money is that radio silence is going to be upheld until release.

We won't know it's gonna happen till it happens.

TLP has us locked hard on their release schedule and it's in the contract no new servers that coincide with TLP.

Additionally, the community is fractured on wanting green and blue to rejoin or not.

We could be looking at a situation where green is green and blue is blue and a reset for either is not in the future.

Would that be so bad? Nah.

Would I like to have another go at a fresh prog because I missed out largely on the last? Sure.

Who knows what will happen.

Too many sweaty nerds will book vacation time or outright quit their jobs on launch day if its too far in advance.

I know they can't actually do it this way, but I wish they'd just have a lottery so that some lucky people could join in the first few hours, and then another (almost as lucky) group could log in during the second set of hours, and so on. A simple feat of staggering the new folks would make the launch a whole lot smoother.

Plus, if you lucked out and got in one of the first groups, and your legs didn't work before, they would magically start working again [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
