![]() By EQ lore Dark Elves are a twisted perversion of the High Elves, and so they get to rightly be the twisted perversion of paladins: Shadow Knights.

EQ is pretty liberal with their race/class combos, I think dwarf paladin is little weird from roleplaying perspective and how this game is so heavily based on DnD. Also I am not in favor of half-pint hybrids because I retired from EQ before they were implemented so they would be completely foreign to me.

The 'classic' aspect of denying half pint hybrids is meh compared to the sheer awesomeness of boxing massive assling armies of doom. Of course that requires boxing, too. But it sure was fun on Gnomish Proving Grounds and Stormhaven back in the day. [You must be logged in to view images. ![]() Gnome and Halfling Warriors make less sense than Halfling Rangers.
A Halfling tanking on a Drolvarg? Why doesn't it just eat the damn thing? But if a shorty wants to whip out a bow and shoot at stuff I'm cool with that.
