When Is The Merge And Reset?

Quarm is a great option for the casual player, the working man's sever if you will. I don't have a lot of time to play, but I absolutely must have the best gear in the game in order to enjoy it casually. Because isn't that what Everquest is all about -- the pixels we made along the way? I think you p99 neckbeards have sadly forgotten that.

wait whats going on? if blue is merging with green then force player to play on green not wipe both say ok done,, thats BS! i spent countless hours, days with out sleep to level the char i invested so much time effort into if i wanna deal with that bs ill play on retail now i hear some @$#% tard just hit delete button? expect rapid population decrease if thats the case.

Don't panic but there was official talk about a merger as recently as like 4 years ago.

If/when it ever happens, no characters would be wiped. Green characters will be added to the blue server and a new green will launch. But we're not holding our breath waiting.

So what if your account already has 8 characters on Blue?

Allowing new accounts for the same IP/whatever, or just making new accounts for these people to transfer their accounts to just opens the door for boxing.

So let Blue become a boxing server and keep green no box. Blue needs something like that anyway to keep it alive. Solutions to these kinds of things aren't that difficult. Or, if they are, the devs can just say "that's too hard for us" or "we give up", or "we just don't give a shit". Something. ��
