The only point of level 60 characters is to ease the new leveling process of my alternative characters...

So many dudes flying around blue.Norrath recently for no other reason than helping bros level up their alts. Absolutely blasted through the first 30 levels on my most recent one.

I want to shout out these folks for their kindness and support. Big thank you!

Does Green have a similar alt levelling environment?

Were all hopelessly addicted, once one character is leveled and they become raid only the only next step to scratch that itch is a new toon.

I've met a few players over the years who play and level multiple clerics. The different races of cleric add noticeable flavor. There are different approaches to cleric play - solo root-and-nuke, group healbot, enchanter sidekick.
There are at least three of us! I exclusively played a cleric on live, and mostly play a cleric now, but... if anyone had told me in 2001 (when I started playing) that rangers can bark arrows at things? World might be a different place.

I have been playing only necro's and got one to 60 hardcore / permadeath ^ ^, It is an extremely fun class with a lot of optimization to learn over time [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I plan on branching out soon though to enchanter / bard

Highly recommend trying an Enchanter. I rolled one as an alt for the first time and it's fun.

For soloing, I levelled only in places I'd either never levelled in before or hadn't XPed in significantly. With the Enchanter's toolkit for safe travelling and ability to conquer basically any camp you can basically go anywhere. It was fun travelling to random things (like those dudes on the iceberg in TD) and trying out off the beaten path places (which technically yes you can do with any class, but I found it very fun as an Ench).

I don't know how people stick to one class. Especially when it's hit 60 and is well geared with not much left to improve.

I think that depends on the class and how much you play.

A Wizard? You still won't find groups for plat camps. There are few if any really worthwhile solo plat camps. All you can do is raid but the class isn't even worth gearing aside from vanity-purposes.

An enchanter? You can solo, group and every bit of raid gear will help improve what your class can do. Good at any point in the game, Fresh or Velious. Unless you play a LOT you're not gonna run out of things to do any time soon. The class also has a fair bit of depth, unlike e.g. Wizard.

Another good pick is Shaman. I'd also say classes like Monk or even Cleric for their own reasons are good "the one and only"-class picks.
