Anyways, I had plans to play on R99 up until this whole debacle with cheaters being treated like royalty. With Uthgaard gone as well I don't foresee any legitimacy coming from R99.

It will be another disgusting cesspool, a la vztz, but with more people.

If there is item loot, or even coin loot, I'll head over to Red99. If not, i'll stay here. EQ pvp is cool and all, but if theres no risk for reward then why bother with farming everything I have again. I played on Rallos Zek, since the get go with Flowers, and the item loot dynamic made PVP an unreal and addictive experience.

Fully agree'd pal. It will be a sad day in Project 1999 history if the server release does not have item or at the very least coin looting. That xp loss thing is just meh. I'll play but my heart just won't be in it like it would be with the other two.

Fortunately, we have a strong contender on our side: Nilbog. He is an oldschool PVPer / RZer that wants item looting, but I'm afraid he wont drop the hammer on this one and implement just because of the 20-30 vocal VZTZ crowd here on the forums.

I agree, I'll play if they have item loot. Just adds so much more excitement to it.. Knowing you can lose that uber item at any moment or looting something awesome after winning a tough fight. That's what it's all about, otherwise it's just even more pointless ganking.

What? So, taking items or coin from someone was the only thing that made it fun? What a crock of shit.

Who gives a fuck if you get loot or not from killing someone... Taking their camp, killing them, chasing them off with their tails tucked between their legs is > getting some stupid item or coin.

With having the whole extra dynamic/option of PVP, why would anyone settle for just a plain old blue server?

I never realized what I was missing until I tried out SZ with a friend. After that I will never play an MMO that doesn't have PVP (I put up with p99 only because it was the only option).
