You mean that the military likes the social-welfare-for-veterans-only candidate? Color me shocked.

We should be shocked that the only Republican who wants to vastly draw down our foreign operations and cut defense spending of all stripes is supported by the very organizations he would be cutting.

You want the truth? The real truth? The truth everyone knows but nobody wants to admit?

The only person who can beat Obama is another minority.

The reason he won is the massive turnout in urban counties which coincidentally are heavily minority. Let me ask: Do you think the turnout would have been nearly the same in 2008 if it were McCain vs, say, Kerry? Or in 2012 Romney vs Lieberman? No. In 1988 Bush won 62% of the white vote and like 400 electoral votes. In 2012 Romney won 62% of the white vote and like 200 electoral votes.

The talking heads today keep saying it's the "changing demographics" in this country, but come on, we know why urban counties voted in such huge numbers. It's racial. Not racist, racial (there's a huge difference). I'd bet my life that a lot of people voted for Obama who can't even name Romney's V.P.

It's the truth. In 2016 there will not be nearly the same turnout in urban counties as there was in 2008 and 2012, unless there's a candidate with similar racial backgrounds. It's not racist, it's just how it is.

Well, considering minorities did overwhelmingly vote for Kerry (including 91% of the black vote), that would make your argument kind of silly wouldn't it?

Next time a republican wins let's just ignorantly blame it on the white vote.
