other than these two corrections, the post you read is accurate. the spawn spots it states are right. actually one correction...add putrid as one of the ph.

How come when I was camping it, it was a 6 minute spawn? (same spawn points as you discussed)

Wait till right before 10, use track. (no one else in zone, so no mobs killed) 1 mob has spawned right at 10pm, seen using track. It is either undead (decaying, dread, putrid, restless) or varsoon/py. Named spawns seemed to have a fifth spawn point, which is in the southwest end of the zone.

It is a 6 minute spawn time on ph. To test this out, in the zone alone, I killed the single ph that spawned at 10pm. 3 minutes later, nothing new was up. I ran down south, no named. At the 6 minute mark exactly, new spawn on track near ruins. ( I am pretty sure I am killing the right spawn since I have spawned varsoon like 20 times. Still no py :\ )


ALSO, I think the cycle starts at 8PM. Seeing as they despawn at 8 then spawn again at 10 (cough, 6 min), I kill them just after 6, and just after 8 I have the undead part of the cycle started already.

Just wanted to post and thank the people who have replied with constructive inside information.

I've actually met a couple people who regularly camp it that have been really friendly and helpful. Just generally decent people who keep the game, this camp and the ever elusive gbs in perspective (with the exception of one who will remain nameless...)

Anyways, I've found it refreshing how many cool people play on this server.

I'm no expert at all on this spawn, but I was running into the zone, omw to EF, and I took a quick glance at the ruins.

she doesnt despawn once spawned
BUT she only spawns at night time.
So someone killed a ph of hers and wasnt actually after her so she spawned and stayed up untill u saw her.

There are 5 or 6 spots she can spawn and will walk up to the ruins after summoning her pet. I would kill anything that pops and starts moving towards the ruins, and anything around the ruins besides the sitting skeletons when you first get there. The farthest away she'll spawn is down by the road to Surefall, and the guards will kill her if pathing nearby.

People used to have all these magical theories back in the day involving Varsoon, Tovax V'mar, etc., but it was all bullshit.

Mirox is right, i am wrong....it is a 6 minute cycle. i swear to god i thought i was killing ph's on a 3 minute cycle. staring at too many pixels me thinks.

i did a couple cycles sunday to be sure (killed one pyz, no gbs)

We were able to spawn 2 Pyzs at the same time on red.

Avon Barksdale is the current master of the Pyz spawn and got me one. He may be willing to sell his secrets.

I manged to spawn 3 varsoons and a pyz in one night. Eventually I got my GBS. It's definitely a 6 minute timer and it's very easy to spot placeholders. Thanks for posting this info. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Been doing lots of research on pyzjn, I think I figured out her specific p1999 spawn, I can spawn her on average 1 time per night and my best was 2 times per night.

Its a lot simpler then what was posted or I'm just extremely lucky. I'm only 16 atm so I just take her to guards if no one is in the zone but vary soooon her GBS's will be mine.
