It was definitely written by a major bigot but was still good in that has a lot of truthiness to it though.

also ayn rand awful, anarchist cookbook just trolly

I wanted to like ayn rand because i like some of the ideas of anarchy.. but i just couldn't bring myself to like the pieces of shit she writes.

ps fuck john galt

another fantasy series i'd strongly suggest avoiding is Terry Goodkind's series

I absolutely loved the first novel and had high hopes for the series but by the time i hit the sixth novel it had lost its mojo.

the 7~9th books were utter trash... thats where i stopped reading then i heard they turned it into some trashy made for tv movie lol

I think he just used the series to live out his rape fantasies... it would have been great if he had wrapped up the series instead of letting it spiral out of control... now he died and his son is going to finish it from what i hear.

If you're looking for truthiness in regards to power, I recommend this:

Odd, a friend of mine just read this and keeps talking about it.

For a real response, no book has affected me emotionally and "immersed" me like:

And then this book:

Really piqued my interest in Buddhism and caused me to read:

And other books by/with the Dalai Lama, which really changed my outlook on life.
