Which VZ/TZ box did you enjoy the most?

That makes me think, the real root of the downfall of this server is the censorship and banstick for saying the "N" word.

I remember the highest VZ/TZ population upwards nearing 300 people. When you could say ANYTHING you wanted in /ooc.

As soon as you abridge the freedom of speech, it goes all downhill from there.

Let punishments fit the crime -- in other words no 'cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Violation of the 8th amendment right.

X is caught double boxing.
X is banned permanently.
X leaves server.
Server population -1.

X's friend stops playing because X was banned.
Server population -2.

Everyone knows that a 24 hour suspension is enough to kill an EQ addict, anything greater than a 72 hour suspension is cruel / unusual punishment. Permanently banning a players account just makes the GM's cyber terrorists, and despots.

No freedom of speech. Sure we don't really want to hear 'N''N''N''N''N''N''N''N' in global but if you have decent staff they can mute someones /ooc. Or summon them to you and PK them and then /GM zone to their bind spot and bind camp them.

GMs cry because its too much work to moderate and effectively punish players and come on the board and type up paragraphs about how they are justified in destroying the the server population. Thats more work than typing.

I've known this from the beginning that P99 wasn't going to have a good PVP server. The only reasons why the offered to sponsor a red box;

#1 so they would have some drama on their forums

#2 so they could get revenge on the players who destroyed their experience when they tried to log in one of the Zek servers on live.

Even after Vendetta Elite joined them, they couldn't defeat PDM. Kith was triple boxing server transfered elite toons with MQ for AsD and they STILL couldn't even compare to the legitimate grief that happened in seeds of destruction.
