Thank you for the link but I don't think it is usable. Aside from the info being fairly hard to read because the page has been retired by Zam, the information that I saw only went back to 2002 Timeframe. We need something from around 2000 or maybe 2001.

Well Raavak you are not to be blamed - it is difficult to find information on his pathing in the early days. What is easy to prove is where he was moved to when they redid Rathe Mtns and added Frogloks, etc.

On reason I asked for others to find links is that I myself haven't had too much luck. Like you, the best I could find so far was from 2002. There is some info near the bottom of this link that pretty much points to him spawing and staying in the Drake area way back in the days of 2002, before the Rathe Mtns remake:

I don't know if it is enough evidence to convince Nilbog and/or the other devs. Certainly the consensus of players posting so far is that his current P99 pathing is wrong. Still hoping for someone to post a definitive link. I'll wait a couple of more days, if nothing else shows up, I'll post a bug and point to this thread at that time.

Never heard about him until this server. Was a non issue in classic. I remember farming those giants for hours.

I think the problem came about a couple of patches ago.
I used to spend a lot of time in hill giant valley levelling my necro, and never had a problem.
Since a couple of months ago I can never go there to level anymore without being attacked.

And as for live, I also spent tons of time in HG valley and never knew he existed.
